Youth Futures Creative Competition

Enter the Competition

As young people, we face many different barriers to employment including – age, disability, education, culture & race, employer prejudice or bias, mental health, social isolation and so many more.

We want to know what employment barriers you have experienced (inclusive of those in and out of your control).

The Youth Futures Summit has partnered with the WhyNot? platform to amplify the voices of young people, prompt discussions and raise issues around young people and their transition from school to work.

The Youth Futures Creative Competition is calling for all creative submissions from young people aged 18 to 30 addressing the topic of barriers to employment.

Each finalists will win a free full-week ticket to the Youth Futures Summit plus they’ll be invited to present their work and join a Q+A about the importance of creative work in creating change during the Summit (Wednesday, 26 August 2020 @ 1pm).

Their work will also be published on the WhyNot platform.

All entries must be received by 6pm on Monday, 17 August 2020 (AEDT) and entry is restricted to one per person.
